Interoceptors These are located within the body. Sensitivity Through sensitivity, we receive information from both the external and the internal environments, and respond accordingly. Sensitivity includes the perception of changes in our surroundings. It also controls the processes that regulate the normal internal functioning of the organism ( breathing, heartbeat, growth , etc.). Reproduction Through reproduction we produce gametes and have of fspring that resemble us. This guarantees the sur vival of our species. 1 Reproductive systems These produce the gametes that, after fertilisation , will form an embr yo. These systems are made up of several internal and external organs. Musculoskeletal system It carries out motor responses. It includes the skeletal and muscular systems. Endocrine system It carries out the responses that secrete substances through glands. Nervous system It receives information from the receptors and sends responses.
