The Sierra Nevada has cold winters and hot summers. In the winter it snows a lot above 2000 metres and temperatures can drop to -10ºC. In the summer it is sometimes between 15ºC and 20ºC. The village of Grazalema is the wettest place in Spain. It can receive over 2000 litres of rain in just one year. So there is a microclimate and plants and trees that don’t live in other places grow well here. In the summer, cities like Córdoba and Seville are some of the hottest places in Europe. The temperatures are often between 35°C and 40°C. Sometimes, the temperature can be up to 47°C in Córdoba! NOW YOU!
